Project

The PLASS-COMP project (full name: Platform for Strengthening Skills Competitions) started on 1 September 2024 and will run until 31 August 2026.

It has been approved for funding by the Slovenian National Agency for Mobility and European Programmes (Center Republike Slovenije za mobilnost in evropske programe izobraževanja in usposabljanja), under the number 2024-1-SI01-KA220-VET-000247948, and within the framework of the KA220-VET action, Cooperation for Partnerships, within the Erasmus + programme. It is financed on a lump sum basis.

The project aims to achieve improved national skills competition practices, including zero waste competitions, enhanced diversity, and digitized documentation. It also seeks to enhance competition readiness through improved joint preparation for EuroSkills, develop a manual and e-learning course for ongoing use, and promote excellence in VET through sharing and promotion activities.

Lead organization: Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training, Slovenia.

Partner organizations:

  • Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, Croatia,
  • Cyprus Productivity Center, Cyprus,
  • Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic.

The main project activities:

  • Improvement of national vocational competitions (through study visits to national vocational competitions in partner countries),
  • Joint preparations for EuroSkills Herning 2025,
  • Development of manual and e-course to prepare competitors and experts for international competitions,
  • Project promotion activities.
